Lauren Settle

helping people get to the root of their problem so they can live in authentic freedom

Time for a change?

Life, as we can all attest, can be quite challenging.

I imagine if you’re here, you’re looking for hope. Hope for something different. Hope to start feeling better. Or maybe you hope to gain clarity on what is going on in your life. Maybe you’re at your wit’s end and don’t know where else to turn.

Oftentimes, for change to occur the pain of staying the same has to be greater than the pain of change. And maybe that’s why you’re here. You know it’s time to make a change!

I am so passionate about the counseling process because I believe it is one of the many helpful tools needed to start the journey of healing.  It's time to get unstuck!

My Approach

If you’re interested in working together, here is what I can tell you about being your counselor. I have worked with all types of concerns and am able to deeply connect, embrace and engage with you, regardless of where you currently are in life.
I truly believe I’m the business of changing lives, not managing symptoms. My passion is to help you develop insight, find the roots to your present concerns, and guide you into learning new ways of living from a place of freedom.

I really believe in a holistic healing approach and enjoy integrating spirituality as a part of this approach. This may include working from a Christian framework if the client chooses to do so.

You are not defined by your present symptoms, and you deserve to live your life from a position of truth!

My Commitment to You

As your counselor, I will be passionate about the therapeutic process because I believe it is a privilege to walk alongside you as you start this journey.

I am here to be a listening ear, helpful guide, and supportive companion as you embark on this new chapter of life!

When I walked into Lauren’s office for the first time, I was greeted by the door with a warm smile, an offer for water, clear expectations for what counseling with her would provide, and a sense of mutual respect.

When I walked out of my last session, I had not only enhanced my life much more than I expected, achieved goals I wanted too for years, and set boundaries in relationships I didn’t think were possible; I had also experienced the same warm smile, offer for water, clear expectations, and the same sense of mutual respect.

In my opinion, you will seldom find someone who is both so genuinely and consistently dedicated towards your well being like Lauren.

I had experiences with other therapists prior to working with Lauren Settle that were unhelpful because I felt the practitioner was not interested and perhaps had become focused on diagnosing rather than looking at the patient holistically. Ms. Settle was a breath of fresh air.

Every week I felt she truly cared about my experiences and thoughts as a good friend would, yet at the same time challenged me to grow like an experienced mental health professional. I felt I was able to trust her with uncomfortable subjects and never felt judged or labeled.

I would recommend her for those who aren’t sure if therapy is right for them, or are scared to take the first step towards choosing a counselor. She will make you feel comfortable and will surprise you with her level of diligence and fidelity towards helping you reach your personal goals.

I would like to take this opportunity to compliment Lauren Settle, and her abilities to comfort, console, and reach out to my two daughters, who had been struggling with various situations, that I as their mother could not help them with. It has been a comfort to me to know that she shares my Christian values, and I believe she has been able to help my girls walk through these situations with grace, and a better understanding of how to approach any new situation. I would highly recommend her to my friends or family.

About Me

I genuinely LOVE what I do. Walking alongside someone who is hurting and being welcomed into that space is truly an honor. I have a sincere desire to be a counselor that lives authentically and with integrity who has the privilege of watching people get set free!

Outside of counseling, my greatest joy is my daughter, Eleanor Laine. She's as cute as a button, smart as a whip, and I've never loved anyone more!
