About Lauren Norris

My name is Lauren Norris and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor. I've been in practice since 2015 and graduated in 2010 from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of the Arts in Psychology. In 2014 I received my Masters of the Arts in Counseling from Colorado Christian University and subsequently was trained in the use of EMDR for the treatment of trauma.

I genuinely LOVE what I do. Walking alongside someone who is hurting and being welcomed into that space is an honor. I have a special passion for helping people find true, long-lasting freedom, so they can move forward and authentically live life. Regardless of whether they're facing anxiety, depression, are in a tough relationship, have family of origin difficulties, or have experienced any type of abuse. Working with clients who are looking to incorporate their Christian faith into the counseling process is a personal passion, as well.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy anything outdoors, but my greatest joy is my two kids, Eleanor and Brooks.
